Professor Sailer has dedicated himself to giving children with facial malformations the ability to smile in addition to passing on his knowledge to the doctors in the field.
Vision
A humanitarian and charitable organisation such as Cleft-Children International CCI is created and sustained by the people who allow a vision to become reality. The man who established the foundation, also the central figure inside our organization, is Prof. Dr. med., Dr. med. dent., Dr. med. h.c. mult., Dr. sc. h.c. Hermann F. Sailer. It is his vision to give the millions of people in developing countries suffering from facial malformations a normal appearance, thereby allowing them to be integrated into society. Professor Sailer sees this as an effort to countervail the disparities and inequities of nature. He also wishes to offer a happier life to peaople who, as a result of their abnormal looks, are victims of prejudice and recipients of little care or love.
