Organization
The aim of Cleft-Children International CCI is to help children with cleft malformations lead a better life.
Organizational structure
On November 23, 2001, Cleft-Children International CCI was founded in Switzerland, marking the first milestone for an international help initiative. Cleft-Children International CCI is initiator and supervisory authority. It activates and monitors the work of the Cleft-Centres, providing for the best possible protection against misuse of donations. An online data base, which is updated with the patients' latest clinical records by the Cleft-Centres before being transferred to Cleft-Children International CCI, is the backbone of this organizational structure. The process ensures ideal medical and administrative oversight while greatly simplifying the cooperation between the far-off Cleft-Centres and Cleft-Children International CCI in Zurich.
