Annual report 2016

Last year again we operated on a large number of children in our centres in India and Pakistan and, on top of this, provided multi-disciplinary treatment in the form of speech therapy and orthodontics.

In 2016 we operated on 6,353 children, approximately 1000 children less than the year before. The reason for this was that there was a massive flood in Chennai and for three months the region was badly disrupted. During this period, we could not operate on or treat any children, because all access routes to Chennai were under water and were blocked for several weeks.
